Accessing OVID Databases

On-site access http://ovidsp.ovid.com/autologin.html (via IP address)
Off-site access http://ovidsp.ovid.com/ (via ID & Password)

IDs and Passwords  

IDs not required. Administrators please contact hkn@ucalgary.ca for administrative access.

Changing Passwords

  • Go to http://ovidsp.ovid.com/
    Enter Administrator ID & PW
  • Select "Administrative Tools" tab
  • Select "Password Changing"

Maintaining IDs and Passwords

Each site administrator is reponsible for managing IDs and passwords including tracking the name and contact information of the ID holder. For further assistance, please contact HKN administration.

Training IDs and Passwords


Please Note: You must use training IDs when you set up training on the OVID databases. 

A request is required and will take 24 - 48 hours to process.
